In observance of Pi day, per suggestion from Wikipedia, you should celebrate today by eating pie, discussing the significance of the number π, or watch Life of Pi!
This is the beginning of the end. I’ve finally given in and started playing Minecraft. All thanks to Chris Ogden buying me a copy for Christmas, and Troy Kristoffer setting up the server on our network.
As I expected, I’m quickly sucked into it, and can only spend my waking moments thinking about what I’m going to do the next time I play. I’m a huge sandbox game player and love to build. I suppose there are worse things to be obsessed about.
“Goodbye, cruel world. Goodbye, cruel lamp. Goodbye, cruel velvet drapes, lined with what would appear to be some kind of cruel muslin. And the cute little pom-pom pull ropes, cruel though they may be…”

Asheron’s Call 2 has returned! We have opened up a new server for anyone who has an active Asheron’s Call subscription to play Asheron’s Call 2 for free! Although we would have loved to revisit some of our old characters with you, we were not able to bring over any of your old characters. We do, however, present this new Asheron’s Call 2 server, Dawnsong, to all active Asheron’s Call players with a paid subscription or who purchase an ACTD retail key and subscribe.
Words can’t describe how excited I’m about Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. I was amongst many who were disappointed with the game. I played FF XI for many years and I had high hopes for FF XIV. This trailer certainly reignited the sense of wonder in me again. Susan Calloway’s angelic voice of the FF XIV theme, Answers, provided the perfect background and emotional tucks to the epic imagery.
