Blizzard just rolled out their referral program for their World of Warcraft players to earn free game time by referring users. I took a peek and the implementation is pretty smooth. No icky copy and pasting a weird link into emails and then wonder if your friend has signed up. It’s all done via the Account Management home page, with status of each referrals shown.

Often times, I lament the fact that time is limited and we can only do so many things at once. It wouldn’t even be that difficult to have a version of that ourselves. In the end, I have to refer myself to my own quote, “It’s in the pipe.”
