Thanks to one of the software directors, we have been introduced to Scrum via the Managerial Bookclub. After some consideration, I have decided to implement it on two of our projects. The team is all up for it. That’s one of the many things that I love about my team. They are not afriad of changes and are always looking for ways to do things better.

Being new to Scrum myself, I have to keep reminding myself the principles of Scrum, which relies heavily on common sense and managing projects empirically. I have also started to use a free tool called ScrumWorks to manage all the artefacts.

I truly believe we will benefit greatly from this model. I view this as a critical move in sustaining our agility. I will be posting updates to our Scrum process continuously.
